New Food Truck Offers Wings, Burgers & Sandwiches to Tuscaloosa
A new food truck is selling soul food in Tuscaloosa and Cottondale.
Paul Crispin, the former owner of the Three Seasons and Paul's Famous Ribs, and his business partner, Willy Davis, teamed up to start Paul's Delicious Express food truck last month.
Crispin said that originally he was looking to buy and develop another restaurant but found the brick-and-mortar business was too expensive and moved on to the next best thing — a food truck.
"Especially when the COVID came in, and you can't go out to sit down well the next [best] thing is a place that can come to you," Davis said.

The food truck will offer a variety of items including burgers, wings and fish but will also offer specialty food items that will vary depending on the day of the week.
"On Mondays and Fridays, I have a different special coming out on those days. I'm trying to do a 'Taco Tuesday' where they will be homemade," Crispin said. "I'm looking at a different variety of stuff, but basically burgers, wings, fish, but I am more of a sandwich guy, I'm going to push more sandwiches."
The truck can be found serving soul food on University Boulevard in Cottondale near the Dollar General store.
