City of Tuscaloosa to Roll Out Upgraded 311 Mobile App Next Week
The city of Tuscaloosa will roll out a new and improved 311 mobile app, giving residents an even better one-stop spot to connect with municipal services.
Tuscaloosa 311 was launched as a non-emergency hotline to city hall, where citizens could call a single, 3-digit number and get connected with whatever city department they needed.

Got a question about your water bill, or a traffic ticket, or a city road project? Calling 311 became the fastest, surest way to get an answer from City Hall.
The hotline was bolstered by a mobile app in 2020, which allows users to submit requests, report concerns and more straight from their devices.
Now, three years after the app was rolled out, the city has announced plans launch a new app powered by new software to further streamline the process for users.
The upgraded app will be released next Wednesday, March 1st. It is free to download and use, and will be available for Apple and Android devices.
In a press release announcing the move, the city said users who have the current mobile app installed will need to download the new one to submit new requests after the end of this month.
