Missing Tuscaloosa Woman Found Safe in Mississippi Saturday
A Tuscaloosa woman who has been missing for more than a week is safe in Mississippi, police said Saturday.
The 30-year-old woman's family had not heard from her since July 14th, when she reportedly boarded a bus to Jackson, Mississippi with a man who returned to Tuscaloosa without her Monday.
The man told police he didn't know where the Tuscaloosa woman was, and fear for her safety spiked, but on Saturday, police officers in Jackson found the missing woman safe during a welfare check after receiving information on her whereabouts.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department thanked the public for their assistance and said the woman was unharmed when she was found Saturday.
