Mega Gas Station, New Restaurant Coming to Vance by Mercedes Plant
A major development is underway near the Mercedes Benz U.S. International plant to bring a huge gas station, a new meat-and-three restaurant and more to Tuscaloosa County.
Some readers may have noticed a billboard on the interstate leaving Tuscaloosa teasing something "Coming Soon!"
According to messages from Vance mayor Brenda Morrison and reports on social media, the development is a large Sprint Mart.
Progress is made every day on the project, which is off Daimler Benz Drive by MBUSI.
The service station site will also reportedly feature a 130-seat meat-and-three restaurant called Sadie's, a private doctor's office and a pharmacy.
A Facebook post about progress there shared in a group dedicated to the Vance area could not be embedded into this report, and a screenshot is included below.
Sprint Mart is headquartered in Ridgeland Mississippi and operates dozens of stores there and in Alabama and Louisiana.
They offer store-exclusive brands including proprietary Best Bean coffee and FInish Line fountain drinks.
