Marengo County Man Dead After Single-Vehicle Crash
One man is dead after a single-vehicle crash occurred Friday in Marengo County.
Lafe Benjamin Parsley of Linden, Alabama, was driving a 2003 Toyota Camry late Friday night down Marengo County 54, just south of the Demopolis city limits.

According to Reginal King, a spokesman for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) State Troopers, the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Parsely, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene.
ALEA's Highway Patrol Division is still investigating the crash. The Tuscaloosa Thread will publish more information as it's made available.
