Man Suffers Gunshot Wound in West Tuscaloosa Wednesday, Investigation Underway
Police are investigating but details are sparse after a man suffered a gunshot wound in Tuscaloosa Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department were called to the 2600 Block of 25th Street around 8 a.m. Wednesday, where they reportedly found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Investigators told the Tuscaloosa Thread that the victim was unable or unwilling to say much about how he came to be injured, only that he was walking along 25th Street in West Tuscaloosa when it happened.
The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and the multi-agency Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit will investigate the case, but without a cooperating victim or witnesses, there is little for them to work with.
