Teenage Girl Killed Friday Night in West Tuscaloosa, Manhunt Underway for Ex
A teenage girl was fatally shot outside a Tuscaloosa club Friday night, and police are still searching for her 19-year-old ex-boyfriend, who allegedly killed her.
Tuscaloosa Police officers were called to the 1700 block of Culver Road around 10 p.m. Friday on a report of a woman shot. The victim, a minor, was taken to a hospital, where she died.
Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit were called in to take over the case.

VCU investigators determined the girl was attacked in the club's parking lot by an ex-boyfriend, who shot her and then fled, according to Captain Marty Sellers, the co-commander of the VCU.
Sellers said the man is 19 years old. Both he and the victim are Tuscaloosa County residents.
Police are not releasing the victim's name or any further identifying information because of her age. The suspect has not been named either, and Sellers said no additional information about him will be released until he is in custody.
Tuscaloosa Police are working with partnering agencies, including federal agents, to find him.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Tuscaloosa Police Department.
