2 Shot, 1 Dead at Tuscaloosa Apartment Complex Thursday Morning
Police are at an apartment complex in Tuscaloosa early Thursday morning where they say two people have been shot, including one victim who has been killed.
Captain Marty Sellers, the co-commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, alerted local media to the killing at 3 a.m. Thursday.
Sellers said the Tuscaloosa Police Department and VCU are at Brookhaven Apartments on James I. Harrison Parkway near Bowers Park.
Two male victims are shot and one is dead, Sellers said.
This is likely the 13th homicide investigated in Tuscaloosa County so far in 2024 - police have not yet said if a suspicious death earlier this week was a murder, only that they suspect foul play.
