4 Hospitalized, Including Child, After Predawn Wreck in Tuscaloosa, Some Injuries Critical
Three adult men and an 11-year-old child have been hospitalized after a major crash in Tuscaloosa early Sunday morning.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, confirmed the collision, which she said took place around 1:45 a.m. Sunday.

Taylor said an Infiniti traveling south on Highway 69 South / Lurleen B. Wallace Boulevard struck a Tesla as it pulled off from Stillman Boulevard onto the highway.
The damage to both vehicles was catastrophic. Taylor said two adult men in the Infiniti suffered injuries that may be life threatening, and they were taken to DCH Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
In the Tesla, an adult male and an 11-year-old also suffered serious injuries, although Taylor did not call them life-threatening. Both were also taken to DCH, and the child has been transported from there to Children's of Alabama hospital in Birmingham.
Taylor said TPD's traffic homicide unit is investigating the wreck. Stay connected to the Tuscaloosa Thread for more updates if there are released.
