Lois Annette Stephens (October 28th, 1942 – February 6th, 2026)

Lois Annette Stephens, 83, passed away peacefully at home on February 6, 2026. A private service will be held, with Magnolia Chapel South directing.

Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, William Andrew Stephens, Sr.; parents, Edwin Austin Turner and Mona Olera Franklin Turner; brother, Jackson Hugh Turner; and sister, Mary Turner Walker.

She is survived by her son William Andrew Stephens, Jr. (Jammie); grandson, Keith Andrew Stephens (Marisa); sister, Twilla Turner Cummings; and several nieces and nephews.

Lois grew up in Holt, Alabama, and graduated from Holt High School, Class of 1960. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked at various jobs over the years and made many lifelong friends among her co-workers. She was a devoted Christian and a prayer warrior for anyone who was in need. Lois enjoyed traveling, shopping, meeting people, and just spending time with family and friends. She greatly enjoyed caring for her grandson and watching him grow up. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Honorary pallbearers are Holt High School Class of 1960, friends and neighbors of the Taylorville community, special caregivers at home, and Hospice of West Alabama.
