Kendall Jenner Visits Tuscaloosa Spots to Promote Tequila, Drawing Throngs of Fans

A surprise visit from celebrity Kendall Jenner drew crowds to several spots in Tuscaloosa Tuesday as the model and influencer flew into town to promote her tequila brand.

Jenner visited into Tuscaloosa and made stops at Innisfree Irish Pub and the Houndstooth Sports Bar on the Strip, drawing crowds of fans at each. Jenner also reportedly planned a stop at a local liquor store.

Jenner launched her 818 tequila brand, named after her area code in Los Angeles County, in early 2021 and was in Tuscaloosa to promote it during brand takeovers at each stop.

The stops drew large crowds of fans and a sizeable police escort that moved with Jenner from stop to stop.

When one local motorist stopped to ask why so many people were outside Innisfree trying to catch a glimpse inside, one young fan summed it up well enough with her answer, "It's Kendall Jenner! She's a Kardashian!"
