After a stunning performance in the Easton Bama Bash this past week, it was announced on Monday, Feb. 22 that senior Kaylee Tow has been named SEC Player of the Week.

The Kentucky native went 11-for-14 (.786) at the plate and had four multi-hit performances. those included three season-best hits in three out of four games from the Bash.

She reached those season-bests on Friday against Liberty and in back-to-back games against LSU.

Tow played a huge roll in Alabama's run-rule defeat against LSU on Sunday. She scored three times and drove in a career-best and game-high of five RBIs.

Her performance helped the Tide score 13 runs against the Tigers' five. This is the highest total in program history against LSU.

Tow's five RBIs on Sunday secured her spot as the team leader in RBIs for the week with 12. Nine of those RBIs came from play during the Easton Bama Bash.

She also currently leads the team in slugging percentage (.917) and hits (14).

Tow previously earned the SEC Player of the Week recognition in 2019 as a sophomore. On top of earning her second SEC Player of the Week title, she was also named to the Easton Bama Bash All-Tournament Team and was chosen as the MVP.
