Police in Walker County seized a large amount of controlled substances including more than seven pounds of marijuana and arrested three people during a drug raid last week.

According to a report posted by the Jasper Police Department, narcotics agents obtained a search warrant for a residence on Parrish Street after developing evidence that illegal drugs were being distributed there.

During a Wednesday raid, officers say they seized LSD strips, psychedelic mushrooms, more than seven pounds of marijuana and many THC-laced edibles, vaping cartridges and waxes.

Police also found four guns during their search, they said.

Two men and a woman were arrested at the house and all were charged with drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspects are 30-year-old Jon Robert Marshall, 32-year-old Crystal Leeann Marshall and Taylor Daniel Abernathy, 31.

John Marshall and Taylor were both also charged with unlawful distribution of controlled substance -- two counts Marshall and one against Taylor.
