The Theta Delta chapter is the collegiate chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., located on the campus of The University of Alabama and is proudly celebrating the 50th Anniversary of its founding. This marks a historic milestone of brotherhood, service, and community impact. The chapter invites the community to join in commemorating this special occasion and celebration of five decades of excellence.

"Fifty years is a testament to all the brothers who came through Theta Delta and the University of Alabama and Tuscaloosa communities that have embraced us along the way,” William Mack, 50th Anniversary Planning Committee Chair.

These anniversary events celebrate a lasting legacy and honor the generations of brothers whose leadership and commitment have helped shape the fabric of West Alabama.

“The Theta Delta Chapter was built on a commitment to service, and decade after decade, our brothers have shown up for Tuscaloosa,” said Mack. “This anniversary isn't just a celebration of our past, it's a recommitment to the work ahead."

The picnic is “open to the entire community, brothers, families, and neighbors alike,” said the press release. “Attendees can expect great food (hamburgers and hot dogs), music, fun, and good fellowship. It's a free, family-friendly afternoon and a wonderful opportunity for the community to be part of this historic celebration.
