West Alabama Braces for a Sharp Temperature Drop
When most Alabamians hear the words “bitterly cold” and “Arctic airmass,” we immediately start to shiver at the thought of those brutal temperatures.

Well, get ready for a pretty significant temperature difference from Saturday into Sunday, nearly a 20-plus degree difference in some West Alabama Counties.
“For most of the state, temperatures will fall through the 30s, and the Tennessee Valley will be in the 20s all day,” said James Spann, Alabama Weather Network and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist. “A strong north wind will make it feel colder; wind chill index values will be in the single digits Sunday night over North Alabama.”
Spann urges residents to protect the BIG FOUR!
