According to Pete Nakos of On3, redshirt freshman Jahlil Hurley has decided to enter the transfer portal.

This season, Hurley becomes the third Alabama player to announce their intention to enter the transfer portal.

Linebacker Keanu Koht filed paperwork to enter the transfer portal via A&P Sports Agency. Koht was a four-star prospect coming out of high school for the class of 2021. Koht redshirted his first season with Alabama due to injuries. Koht ended this season with 5 total tackles, a fumble recovery, and half a sack.

Defensive tackle Jehiem Oatis entered his name into the transfer portal earlier in the season. Oatis totaled 29 tackles and one sack as a freshman in 2022. Oatis transitioned his production for his sophomore season with 26 tackles and 0.5 sacks. This season, Oatis tallied only two tackles for the Crimson Tide.

The Florence native was a four-star prospect coming out of Florence High School. During his junior year, Hurley secured 43 tackles, 5 interceptions, 4 tackles for loss, and 5 pass breakups. Hurley continued his impressive performance for his senior year. Hurlley recorded 56 tackles, 5 interceptions, 6 pass breakups, and forced two fumbles.

Hurley as the No. 69 overall player and No. 9 cornerback in the 2023 class committed to Alabama over Auburn, Florida, Florida State, plus Georgia. Once he arrived for the Crimson Tide, Hurley decided to redshirt his freshman year in 2023. This season, Hurley played in the secondary and special teams. In 9 games, Hurley played 19 snaps and recorded one tackle for the Crimson Tide.

The transfer portal will continue to stay open on December 9th until December 28th. A second window of the transfer portal will open right back up from April 16th to 25th.

You can catch some Crimson Tide action as the men's basketball team heads to Chapel Hill as they face No. 20 North Carolina tomorrow at 6:15 p.m. CT on ESPN. This game will be aired on Tide 100.9 FM and 1230 WTBC.
