Alabama Reserve Linebacker Enters Transfer Portal
Alabama redshirt sophomore Ian Jackson has announced that he plans to enter the transfer portal, per 247Sports.
Jackson will have two years of remaining eligibility.
Jackson, a former consensus four-star recruit, attended Prattville high school where he earned ASWA 7A All-State Second Team and Montgomery Advertiser All-Metro Team following his 2019 campaign.
Jackson redshirted after his freshman season in 2021. The following season in 2022, he finally hit the field, appearing in three games, all on special teams. This season, Jackson did not see any action.
Jackson is the tenth Tide player to hit the portal following a heartbreaking Rose Bowl loss.
