Alabama QB Enters Transfer Portal

Alabama has its second quarterback enter the transfer portal, and no, it's not who you might think.

Alabama freshman quarterback Eli Holstein has entered the transfer portal according to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports.

Holsten, a former four-star quarterback from Zachary, Louisiana, did not see playing time with the Crimson Tide this season.

Alabama's quarterback room appeared a little crowded following the announcement of quarterback Ty Simpson staying with the Crimson Tide. With the addition of five-star quarterback Julian Sayin, who enrolled early with the Crimson Tide ahead of their preparation for the Rose Bowl, the quarterback room featured five quarterbacks on scholarship following the departure of Tyler Buchner. Buchner returned to Notre Dame to play lacrosse for the Fighting Irish.
