Man Killed in Quadruple Shooting in Tuscaloosa County
Investigators in Tuscaloosa County are on the scene of a quadruple shooting that left one man dead early Sunday morning.
Jack Kennedy, a Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's captain who commanders the multi-agency Violent Crimes Unit, said deputies are in the 1300 Block of 58th Street East.
Kennedy said four people had been shot there and a male is dead.
The VCU alerted local media to the shooting at 4:15 a.m. Sunday.
By the count of Thread staff, it is already the 11th homicide investigated by the VCU in 2024 - above average so early in the year.
