Alabama's offensive line is one of four teams representing the SEC on the midseason honor roll.

Tennessee, LSU, and Texas also made the list.

Alabama's starting five of Kadyn Proctor, Tyler Booker, Parker Brailsford, Jaeden Roberts, and Elijah Pritchett have kept Milroe fairly clean this season. Through five games, Milroe's only been sacked seven times, with three coming against South Florida, when Proctor and Pritchett missed time due to injury and Booker played left tackle.

Milroe was sacked 44 times in 2023. Milroe was sacked four or more times in four games last season. Alabama's offensive line averaged 3.5 sacks given up per game last year. In 2024, they are averaging 1.6 sacks per game.

Not only is the offensive line better in the pass game, but they've improved in the run game as well. Alabama averaged 4.3 yards per rush in 2023 and 172.6 yards per game running the football in 2023. In 2024, Alabama is averaging 5.5 yards per rush and 194.2 rushing yards per game.

The Joe Moore Award is presented annually to the best offensive line in college football. Parker Brailsford was a member of last year's winner, the Washington Huskies, starting all 15 games for the Huskies, with 12 coming at the center position.
