
Iowa Trucker Dies in Thursday Morning Interstate Crash in Sumter County
A truck driver from Iowa was killed early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash outside of Livingston, Alabama, in Sumter County.
Sergeant Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers, said the victim was Luqman A. Goher, who was from Ankeny, Iowa.

King said Goher was driving a 2020 Freightliner tractor-trailer when he left Interstate 59 and struck a ditch and then several trees.
Goher, 31 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which took place near Mile Marker 26, around 11 miles northeast of Livingston.
King said no other details are available Friday as the Troopers continue to investigate the deadly accident.
