Hurricane Ida: Business Closings, Delays in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Area
Hurricane Ida is making its way east from Louisiana beginning Sunday afternoon, and West Alabama businesses are preparing to temporarily shut down as everyone braces for the storm's impact.
Below is a running list of business closings and delays in the West Alabama area:
- Peco Foods, Inc. in Tuscaloosa will not operate Sunday evening, Sunday night, and Monday morning. Operations will resume Monday evening.
- The Tuscaloosa County Road Improvement Commission (TCRIC) meeting scheduled for Monday at City Hall is canceled.
