Highway In Tuscaloosa County Is Open Following Crash Investigation

The highway in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama 171 near mile marker 13, is now open.
Police in Tuscaloosa closed a local highway on Saturday afternoon after a two-vehicle accident in Tuscaloosa County.
Now, an investigation concerning that crash, has closed the highway again on Sunday afternoon.
Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama State Troopers, said a collision on Alabama 171 in Tuscaloosa County took place around 2:20 p.m. yesterday afternoon. He also said troopers were on the scene around 1:00 p.m. to conduct a follow-up investigation that would close both lanes of Alabama 171 near the 13 mile marker for an undetermined amount of time.
He said Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division will monitor the situation and provide updates soon.
