A complex system of severe storms made its way across West Alabama today, leaving significant damage in its wake.

Alabama Emergency Management Agency Division C Coordinator Don Hartley says a mobile home in Hale County was destroyed by high winds from storms Tuesday afternoon.

The home was located three miles south of Greensboro. No information about the home's residents is available at this time.

Close to 3,400 West Alabama residents are without power as a result of Tuesday's storms.
