The Tuscaloosa Police Department alerted the public of a man who broke into the Crimson Wireless cellphone store earlier this week.

TPD issued a statement on its Facebook page, asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect. He was caught on surveillance cameras at the store, located at 3604 University Boulevard E, at around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The suspect, who was wearing a red polo shirt and jeans, but no shoes, used a concrete block to bust open the front door. He could not get enough glass broken at once, so he sat on the curb of the storefront to rest before taking to the door again.

After clearing enough glass, he entered the store and quickly left after taking several items.

If anyone has information on the identity or whereabouts of this suspect, call TPD at (205) 349-2121 or Tuscaloosa Crimestoppers at (205) 752-STOP (7867).
