Meeting topics include information on the “plans to build new Habitat homes in the nearby Kaulton Park area where Habitat Tuscaloosa has purchased property. Residents will have the opportunity to listen to a presentation and to ask questions. All are welcome,” according to a press release from the nonprofit.
“Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa purchased 37 lots in the Kaulton Park area last year. Twenty-six of those lots are in one parcel, and the other 14 are “infill,” or in existing neighborhoods with houses built around them. Before we begin construction on the 26-lot parcel next year, we wanted to let the community (especially our Kaulton Park neighbors) know what we plan," said Ellen Potts, Habitat Tuscaloosa's Executive Director. “We also wanted to give people the opportunity to ask questions and to provide input. For those who are not able to attend in person, we will stream on Facebook Live on the Habitat Tuscaloosa Facebook page.”
