Gerald Jackson House, age 80, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2024.

He was born in Moundville, Alabama on July 26, 1943. Gerald graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1961 where he played football and baseball.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Sue Warner House, father Ernest Donald House and stepmother Christine House, mother Robbie Beatrice Wedgworth, sister Judy Holst, and sister Brenda Wedgworth.

He is survived by his wife Vicki House, son Tim House (Erin), daughter Debbie Hayes (Dennis), granddaughter Samantha Hayes, grandsons Warner House (Alex), Jackson House, Camden House, Deacon House, great granddaughter Millie House, brothers Lex Wedgworth, Bobby Wedgworth and Will Wedgworth, stepsons Christian Bucholz and Joe Bucholz, step-granddaughter Addie Bucholz.

He enjoyed gunsmithing, duck hunting, and deer hunting. He was so proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play sports as they were growing up. Gerald loved just hanging out with family on Saturdays watching Alabama football. He will be dearly missed by all.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The American Heart Association or The National MS Society.
