A wreck in Greene County claimed the life of a West Alabama woman late Thursday night, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers.

Justin O'neal, an ALEA spokesperson, said the wreck occurred on I-20/59 near Boligee around 11:45 p.m.

The victim, 29-year-old Keyundria S. Jones, was driving a 2014 Dodge Avenger on the interstate when she rear-ended a 2013 Dodge Ram that was reportedly parked on the roadway at the time of the crash.

Jones' car then rotated and was struck head-on by a 2013 Dodge Ram that was being driven by a Texas man.

Jones, who was from Emelle, Alabama, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The drivers of the other two vehicles were not injured, O'Neal said.

ALEA's Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the deadly collision, and no futher details were available Friday afternoon.
