Face Masks Required at Municipal Courthouse in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Beginning September 1
The City of Tuscaloosa will soon require face masks within its municipal courthouse.
Beginning Wednesday, September 1, anyone who enters the Tuscaloosa Municipal Courthouse must wear a face covering. Those who do not have a mask at the time of entry will be provided one for free.
The decision was announced Thursday, almost a week after citizens began a petition urging Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox and the Tuscaloosa City Council to enact a city-wide mask mandate.
