DCH To Close Vaccination Site Ahead of Severe Weather Thursday
DCH Regional Medical Center's remote vaccination site will be closed all day Thursday in anticipation of severe weather.
Forecasts warn of widespread thunderstorms across north and West Alabama Thursday afternoon into evening, between the hours of 1 and 11 p.m. This weather could include tornadoes.
Any patients scheduled to be vaccinated Thursday will have their appointments rescheduled for the same time on Saturday, March 27.
During severe weather events, especially during tornado warnings, anyone in the affected area should immediately seek shelter until the warning expires. For information on the closest public storm shelter, check the Tuscaloosa County EMA website.
