DCH Hospital to Close South Parking Deck, Entrance for Construction Process Beginning January 2
The south parking deck and south entrance of DCH Regional Medical Center will close beginning January 2 as construction crews prepare for its demolition and replacement.
According to the Tuscaloosa County Emergency Management Agency, the entrance and deck project will take two years before it is completed.
The hospital will feature a new drop-off and temporary entrance, the West Vestibule, which will open once the closure commences. The new parking lot, located west of the south lobby entrance, will open for convenience.
The post states patients and visitors are welcome to park in any of the open lots, including the parking deck next to the Manderson Cancer Center.
