Threat Made to Local Courthouses Draws Large Police Presence to Downtown
The Tuscaloosa Police Department has issued an all-clear following a Wednesday afternoon threat that drew a large police presence to the Tuscaloosa Federal Courthouse.

According to a Facebook post from the Tuscaloosa Police Department, a call was made from someone who reported a supposed active threat at a courthouse.
The post said officers responded to the municipal, county and federal courthouses before it was quickly determined the threat was unfound.
The incident cause a portion of University Boulevard in front of the federal courthouse to briefly close, however it is now open to the traffic.
