City of Tuscaloosa Ends Grace Period for Water, Sewer and Trash Collection June 1, 2021

Payment protections enacted during the COVID-19 pandemic will soon come to an end within the City of Tuscaloosa.

The Executive Order that established a grace period for payment of water, sewer, and garbage collection is set to expire Tuesday, June 1st. Those who still need help in paying utility bills or rent can apply for relied from Alabama's Emergency Rental Assistance program HERE.

The City of Tuscaloosa's grace period for water bills had been in place since March 13, 2020.
