The City of Tuscaloosa shared a Thursday morning update on the ZZ Top concert scheduled for the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater Friday night.

ZZ Top Bassist and founding member Dusty Hill died at the age of 72 Wednesday, leaving many concert ticketholders with question's about the show's future.

"Tomorrow night's ZZ Top concert is still scheduled at this time, with long-time friend of the band Elwood Francis sitting in on bass," the City said in a Facebook post.

Concert attendees are reminded to follow the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater's clear bag policy and to arrive early to secure a parking spot as construction along the Jack Warmer Parkway is ongoing.

Amphitheater gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert is set to begin at 8 p.m.
