A 28-year-old Centreville woman died Friday after a head-on collision in Bibb County, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers have confirmed.

Trooper Reginal King, a spokesperson for ALEA in West Alabama, said 28-year-old Larissa Jean Terry was driving a Nissan Armada on Alabama Highway 25 Friday afternoon when she collided head-on with a Chevy Malibu.

The wreck seriously injured Terry, who was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She died there a short time later, King said.

The wreck happened just before 2 p.m. Friday around 10 miles north of Centreville in Bibb County, near Highway 25's Mile Marker 100.

State Troopers continue to investigate the wreck, and no further information was available Saturday afternoon.
