Cars Damaged But None Hurt When Gunfire Erupts at Tuscaloosa Club Sunday
Several vehicles were damaged but no one was hurt when gunfire rang out at a Tuscaloosa club early Sunday morning.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said their officers were called to Spades Restaurant and Lounge on Culver Road a few minutes before 2 a.m. Sunday on reports of gunfire in the area.
Taylor said investigators found eight different vehicles that had been damaged by gunfire, but no injuries have been reported as of Sunday evening.
Roads around the business were briefly closed to traffic during the early stages of the investigation but have since reopened.
No arrests have yet been made in this case, Taylor said. Criminal investigators have interviewed several witnesses, but TPD is asking anyone who knows more about the early morning mayhem to contact police at 205-349-2121.
