In June, off-price juggernaut Burlington bought 50 former Bed Bath & Beyond storefronts for more than $13 million and the Tuscaloosa store was among their acquisitions.

The mega-store, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, boasts more than 900 locations across the United States, including a dozen others in Alabama - when it opens Friday, the Tuscaloosa store will be the state's 13th Burlington.

Their site confirms our location will open this Friday, November 17th, with a ribbon-cutting scheduled at 9 a.m. All weekend long, early shopping customers can receive giveaways including $10 gift cards on Friday and Saturday and umbrellas on Sunday.

After the festivities this weekend, Burlington will operate seven days a week, opening at 9 a.m. daily and closing at 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 10 p.m. on Sunday.
