The Alabama mens basketball game against Texas A&M, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 17, has been officially postponed. The matchup was pushed from the 17th to the 18th in hopes of avoiding icy weather conditions, but with the conditions not showing much improvement, the SEC has decided to postpone the game.

As of now there has been no discussions as to what the makeup date will be, and with the regular season drawing to a close in less than two weeks, this game appears to be in limbo. Three games in total have been postponed this week with LSU at Ole Miss and Mississippi State at Auburn being moved from Thursday.

Alabama currently holds a three game lead on the SEC and needs just two more wins to secure the SEC regular season title and earn an automatic bid for March. With the Tide heading into what has been heralded all season as it's easiest stretch on the schedule, Alabama has an excellent opportunity to win the regular season title for the first time since 2002.
