Brandon Miller, a 2022 5-star forward from Tennessee, announced his commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide Monday afternoon.

The small forward stands 6-foot-8, 200lbs, hailing from Cane Ridge High School in Antioch, Tenn. He's rated as the 3rd small forward and 11th overall player in the country.

“I grew up watching Alabama football so I’ve always been an Alabama fan,” Miller told Joe Tipton of On3. “My dad is excited. He’s been with me since the jump. My whole family is excited.”

Miller said he fits as a stretch player in head coach Nate Oats's scheme, playing as a "big guard type" that's capable of working the boards and defending all five positions.

He joins Jaden Bradley as the second 5-star prospect in the 2022 class. Should both commitments hold true, it would be the first time the Crimson Tide will have signed two 5-stars in the same class since recruiting databases came into form in the early 2000s. Miller's commitment brings Alabama's 2022 class to the 20th in the nation, according to 247Sports.

As the tweet above alludes, Nate Oats is not likely done with garnering commitments from 5-star prospects. The Crimson Tide are still in the driver seat to land Bradley's IMG Academy teammate Jarace Walker, a 6-foot-8 power forward.
