“Extremely thankful to say I have committed to The University of Alabama! Thank you to the good Lord, my parents, and my coaches for making this possible,” said Snell.

Snell initially committed to the Auburn Tigers back in November 2019. The former Auburn commit did not see action in his first-year with the Tigers in 2021, leading him to transfer to Wallace-Dothan Community College.

Snell appeared in 14 games for Wallace-Dothan, picking up three wins in 66 innings pitched, posting a 4.91 ERA and recording 46 strikeouts. Snell can also hit for his position and play in the infield. The two-way player earned a .396 batting average, 34 runs, 44 RBIs, and five homeruns last season.

Snell and the Wallace-Dothan Governors went all the way to the Alabama Community College Conference finals, falling short to Snead State in the championship.

Snell joins an Alabama pitching staff that has built up its depth with solid recruiting recently.
