19-Year-Old Demopolis Man Dies in Marengo County Crash
A 19-year-old man was killed early Thanksgiving morning in a pre-dawn crash in Marengo County, state police report.
Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers, said the victim was Colten B. Moore.
King said Moore was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado on Marengo County Road 21 when he left the roadway and struck a fence and an embankment.
The teenager was not using a seatbelt at the time, King said, and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
King said the crash occurred on County Road 21 approximately eight miles south of Demopolis in Marengo County, and Moore was a Demopolis resident.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
