Woman Injured by Glass is Car Shooting at Tuscaloosa Apartments Saturday
Police in Tuscaloosa are searching for a suspect after a woman was reportedly fired on and injured by car glass fragments a local apartment complex on Saturday.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, told the Thread that officers are in the area of the Skyland Pointe apartments, formerly known as the Heights at Skyland, on a shooting call.

Taylor said a woman has been taken to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
There is no suspect in custody at this time, and a search of the area is underway.
Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit are reportedly also on scene.
UPDATE: In good news, police say initial reports that the woman was shot were incorrect - she was wounded by shattered car glass when a vehicle was shot, but did not suffer a gunshot wound.
