BREAKING: Shooting Injures Woman in Tuscaloosa Friday Morning
A woman was hurt in a shooting in Tuscaloosa Friday morning, police have confirmed to the Thread.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokeswoman for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said officers were called to the 1500 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard at 6:15 Friday morning on reports of a shooting.
Taylor said officers found a woman suffering from gunshot wounds that do not appear life-threatening as of Friday morning.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment, and investigators are still searching for the person responsible for the shooting.
