The truck was being driven by a 71-year-old man from Kennedy, Alabama.

King said Barbara Kornegay was pronounced dead at the scene, and both the others in the Nissan required medical treatment at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

The crash happened on Alabama 171 about 16 miles north of Tuscaloosa, King said. State Troopers will continue to investigate the cause of the deadly wreck.
