University Boulevard East Closed After Double Fatality in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
University Boulevard East is closed this morning following an accident that killed two people.

Tuscaloosa Police Department Public Information Officer Stephanie Taylors said two vehicles collided near the intersection of University Boulevard East and Wildwood Drive just after 3 a.m.
" A passing motorist called 911 to report the crash, which involved a pickup and a car," Taylor said.
Taylor said two people died at the scene and two others are being treated for injuries.
The affected portion of University Boulevard East is expected to remain closed for several hours while TPD's Accident Reconstruction Unit is on the scene.
