In a statement via the press release, senior sports sales & event development manager at Visit Tuscaloosa Robins Bonner stated, "We are thrilled to be working with DC Elite on their Crimson * White Tournament. We are very grateful for the partnership with DC Elite and the support shown from our local partners, PARA and The University of Alabama Softball Team."

The tournament is expected to bring in well over 750 participants and hopes to generate more than $600,000 in economic revenue for Tuscaloosa.

Tournament Overview

The Crimson * White Tournament will feature a 4GG, two-day format with three pool games that will lead into a single-elimination tournament. The event is limited to 48 teams across the 10U, 12U, and 14U age groups.

They are anticipating a high level of competition and a memorable experience for all who are involved.

A special kick-off party will be held on October 18 to celebrate the inaugural event. It will be located at Rhoads Stadium the home of Alabama Softball, and will begin two hours prior to Alabama Softball's game against the University of West Alabama.

At the party, players and coaches can pick up bags with goods from the tournament, enjoy music from DJ Rachel, play games, and win prizes while enjoying some pizza and drinks provided.

Each player and two coaches will also receive tickets for the Alabama vs. West Alabama softball game. Coaches can also tour the VIP Clubhouse and participate in Coaches Chalk Talk with coaches from the Crimson Tide Softball coaching staff.
