Tuscaloosa’s JamisonMoneyFarmer Promotes Employees

Tuscaloosa's own JamisonMoneyFarmer PC recently announced promotions for five of its employees.

JMF serves privately-held businesses and their owners, government and not-for-profit organizations, and individuals in Alabama and throughout the southeast with a full range of accounting, tax, and consulting services. It is Alabama’s seventh-largest CPA firm.

Two JMF employees were promoted to managers and three to supervisors -- for more details, check out the individual promotions below.

Morgan Akins, CPA was promoted to manager. She began full-time at JMF in 2014 as a staff accountant in tax and accounting and worked as an intern for JMF during the 2013 and 2014 tax seasons. Akins graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration in Accounting and has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama.

Matt Shirley, CPA was promoted to manager. He began full-time at JMF in 2014 as a staff accountant in tax and accounting, working as an intern for JMF during the 2012 and 2013 tax seasons. Shirley graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration in Accounting and has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama.

Brennan Bush, CPA was promoted to supervisor. He began full-time at JMF in 2018 as a staff accountant in tax and accounting, working as an intern for JMF during the 2017 and 2018 tax seasons. Bush graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration in Accounting and has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama.

Crystal Lewis, CPA was promoted to supervisor. Lewis began full-time at JMF in 2021 as a senior accountant in tax and accounting, previously working as a Grants Accountant at UAB and as an internal accountant at Cheney Lime. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting from Texas State University.

Zach Romain was promoted to supervisor. Romain began full-time at JMF in January 2019 as a staff accountant with a focus in tax, working as an intern for JMF during the 2018 tax season. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Alabama.
