A venue on the Tuscaloosa Strip will host a 28-show concert series this fall, promoters announced this week.

Big Spring Entertainment, the operator of Druid City Music Hall, is bringing their first-ever Kaleidoscope Concert to the space.

The 28-show series will feature more than 40 rising artists across genres including country, folk, pop and rock on nights from August through November.

“The goal was to really bridge the gap between the venue and Tuscaloosa’s population of college students,” said venue talent buyer Vickie Gordon. “I think the series brings a lot of what would be considered ‘major market artists’ to a non-major market, and I’m excited to see how that translates with the audience of Druid City Music Hall and the city as a whole."

The first show, headlined by hybrid singer-songwriter charlineonafriday, kicks off the series on Wednesday, August 21st.

Some shows are expected to sell out before the fall semester begins, so organizers recommend acting fast on any show you want to attend.

All shows are at Druid City Music Hall on the Strip at 1307 University Boulevard this fall.
