TENDER BENDER: Tuscaloosa’s Second Foosackly’s Coming to Highway 69 South
Tuscaloosa residents will soon have yet another place to grab a plate of chicken fingers and fixings as Foosackly's prepares to build a new location down Highway 69 South.
The Mobile, Alabama chicken chain exploded onto the local scene back in July 2020, when their store on 15th Street served more than 1,200 cars on its opening day.
Now, three years after the first Tuscaloosa location opened, work is underway to open a second local Foosacklys in Capital Market Center off Highway 69 South.
The shopping center is anchored by the Publix Supermarket and the restaurant is planned for the space between Taco Bell and AutoZone.
Foosackly's is a Mobile tradition now open in 13 locations in Alabama and two more in Florida.
Their simple menu offers nothing but fried chicken fingers, french fries, cole slaw and Texas toast plus six housemade sauces and a few salads.
