Tuscaloosa Restaurant Week Returns Next Month, Offering Exclusive Dishes & Deals
It's almost June, which means the third new-and-improved Tuscaloosa Restaurant Week is right around the corner, bringing great deals, exclusive dishes and a half-dozen feature stories about local business owners we love.
The annual celebration, organized by Visit Tuscaloosa and presented this year by Cadence Bank, will return for the last full week of June, from the 22nd through the 28th.
With the college crowd gone for the summer, local restaurants have more space than any other time of year, but also their greatest need for support from year-round residents.
Tuscaloosa Restaurant Week will feature dozens of the area's best places to eat and drink, including six that will be featured in magazine-style profiles here on the Thread, as in years past.

“We’re thrilled to bring back some of the exclusive dishes that have become Restaurant Week favorites, while also welcoming a lineup of new restaurants participating for the first time,” said Josh Rivers, Director of Community Partnerships and Group Tour Experiences at Visit Tuscaloosa. “This year’s event will give locals and visitors alike the perfect reason to explore new flavors and support the restaurants that help shape Tuscaloosa’s identity.”
We'll be highlighting some of the city's old favorites but also a few of the newest places to open in and around the Druid City.
“Our restaurants play a huge role in creating a sense of place for both residents and visitors,” said Kelsey Rush, President and CEO of Visit Tuscaloosa. “Tuscaloosa Restaurant Week is a celebration of that impact—and a reminder that supporting our hospitality sector boosts the local economy, sustains jobs, and enriches our entire community.”
The presenting sponsor for Restaurant Week 2025 is Cadence Bank, joined by support from Senator Gerald Allen, Representative Cynthia Almond, Lamar Advertising, and Townsquare Media, the parent company of the Tuscaloosa Thread.
Stay connected to all the action this year here on the Thread and at TuscaloosaRestaurantWeek.com, and follow Visit Tuscaloosa on social media for updates and features.
Registration is still open, and restaurants interested in participating can contact Josh Rivers at jrivers@visittuscaloosa.com.
